We did it!

We did it!

Well it was a full day of craziness, but we got through it and it was really, really fun! Actually, in the end I was surprised at how smooth it did go. We all followed the priest’s instructions pretty well I think and I didn’t embarrass myself too much up on the stage. I think most people’s favorite parts of the wedding ceremony were when Amy had to sit on her father’s lap, when I struggled to balance myself while placing Amy’s toe on the flowers that were lining out “path” around the fire, and the dropping of the sheet followed by our racing to throw rice on each other’s heads. I can tell you time moves a little strangely up on that stage. At times it felt like the ceremony was going on for a long time and at others I was marveling at how quickly we were moving along. We are so happy that we did it, though. It was a fantastic experience!

Quick recap of our honeymoon to come.

no no no- the best part of the ceremony was when the old man holding the baby in the front row stood up, turned to us and shouted, 'here is where they walk the 7 holy fires!' and sat back down. that was the best.

where are pics??
