We got our caterer finally. We're going with Cafe Spice. For you New Yorkers, it's on University, near NYU. You may have been there before. Alok, from the restaurant, has been extremely helpful and generous with his time. His prices have been competitive and most importantly, the food was excellent. Mom found him and has also contracted him to cater the pre-wedding Mehendhi party as well. The Mehendhi will be delicious Mediterranean food (pita, hummus, baba ghanouj, gyro, shawarma, etc) and the wedding will be mostly Indian food (samosas, biryani, aloo gobi, hyderabadi chicken, etc). We did two separate tastings and everything was great. Pati agrees as well. So come hungry!
